Quality Policy

It is the policy of the Management to maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) with all the necessary Documentation for Registration to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025, and to ensure the trials meet the required international standards, statutory, legal and customer requirements.

GBS are committed to providing professional service to carry out testing of products , all forms of armour against small arms attack also tests of various effects of ammunition up to 20mm calibre at an indoor range. For larger calibres and systems at authorised outdoor ranges. They also provide a retail service for small arms and associated equipment for sporting activities.

A planned QMS has been introduced by Top Management to ensure that the services conform to client and order requirements and the goals of the organisation.

To achieve, maintain and continually improve the desired quality, the Company requires the commitment and participation of all personnel in the organisation and everyone in the company must seek at all times to:

  • Familiarise themselves with the Quality Documentation and implement the policies and procedures in their work

  • Take responsibility for Achieving and Sustaining the quality of their work so as to continually meet the client stated or implied needs and expectations.

  • Eliminate and prevent from occurring all errors and client complaints throughout the organisation.

  • To continually improve the operations and quality of the Company’s service.

The Managing Director retains overall responsibility for the development and operation of the QMS and to continually improve its effectiveness.

The Range Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all personnel are adequately supervised, trained competent and experienced in all aspects of their work, including quality.

The Managing Director has appointed a Company Quality Manager who is responsible for all quality matters.

This policy is reviewed at the regular Management Reviews, together with the objectives for improvement.
